Hotel de la Marine

We visited the newly restored Hotel de la Marine. It was the residence of the person charged with keeping track of the royal furniture collection. Later, it because the headquarters of the Navy. It's right on the Place de la Concorde (though when it was built it was named after Louis XIV). The name was changed after they beheaded the grandson there!

Enjoy the luxurious interiors and the shots from the colonnade that overlooks the place and the rue de Rivoli.
